You MUST be a member in good standing with the United States Figure Skating Association to skate on any club ice hours at the Skating Club of Central New York.  If you are not a member of SC of CNY please be prepared to show your USFS membership card to the monitor at the desk prior to skating on any club ice.
 
Reminder to all SC of CNY members:  You must be in good standing with SC of CNY to test or compete.

 

The Skating Club of Central New York (SCCNY) is a member of U.S. Figure Skating (USFS), the official governing body for the sport of figure skating for the United States.  We are a non-profit organization offering programs that encourage and cultivate a fraternal spirit among skaters, as well as encouraging the instruction, practice and advancement of the sport/art of figure skating for all levels and ages.  We strive to provide a safe, harmonious, fun environment for children in which each skater can achieve his/her goals.

Programs offered include Basic Skills Group Lessons, Moves in the Field, Freestyle, Ice Dancing and Synchronized Team Skating.  The Skating Club of CNY skates year round at The Cicero Twin Rinks, hosts four test sessions per year as well as our Skate Challenge Competition held annually in  March.   Our spring skating show is held every May as a way to promote participation by all of our club members and their families and to display to the public the entertainment value of our beautiful sport.
