Meeting Minutes

Skating Club of CNY Board of Directors

September 25, 2011

Meeting beginning at 4:55 pm

In attendance: Jen Ferguson, Toni DiPirro, Christina Auer, Shelley Kline & Mia Stanton.

Treasurer’s report Ice bill $11,400 for August. In our account there is $13,500, around $4000 not deposited yet. Discussing the possibilities of changing Tuesday’s ice hours from later to earlier from November to March.

Learn to Skate issues: Trying to make less confusion & make the program flow easier especially on Wednesday evening.

We would like to have more involvement from the coaches & a positive atmosphere.

Competition – Shelley needs to do the sanctions. We need to pay before Nov 1st so our rates don’t go up. Test session in November – Jen will not be here & now Michele Kerr is now not able to so we will need many board members here. Hours will be 9-6pm, but possibly 9-4pm.

Fundraising – Mia has the sponsorship letter that will be passed out to each skater. Reply back by Nov 15th. We may also participate in a Little Caesars Pizza program. Still negotiating dasher boards with Kyle. Golf & a barbeque can start to be organized now for the spring so that we can have volunteers set up as well as advertising.

Next meeting will be Monday, October 24th at 5:00. Meeting ending at 6:45 pm
